Hello every body!
I was just wondering if any one here knew anything about the old Bryant and May factory bombed during the war.
I have been researching my family tree and believe that my great grandfather was killed there.
I would be greatfull if anybody had any information about it or pointers in the right direction.
thanx

:D Hiya,

This is fron the 1938 Directory of Liverpool for Bryant and May

Bryant & May Ltd Match Manufacturers makers of "Brymay" the famous household safety match; "Swan Vestas" The smokers match and "Capt Webb" "Pilot" and "Puck"

Diamond Works Linacre Road Litherland.

It goes on to give phone numbers! only about 4 digits in 1938!
