Hiya, thought I'd better introduce myself. Born, Bred (and buttered) in Bootle. Born in Walton Hospital, lived in Carolina Street for the first 18 months, then up to Masefield Crescent for the next 26 years! Went to Roberts school (infants to girls seniors) then St George of England when we got mixed in with the boys school. Worked in John Moores and the Giro. Now residing in Leicestershire (for now). Hoping to move back up north when retired. Have had great fun reading all the posts and looking at the photos - keep up the good work!
Regards
Annette

Welcome Annette
I went to Roberts School too - but if you went on to St George's you would have gone to Roberts long after me as St G. wasn't opened until I left. what years did you attend?

Hi Betty, I started at Roberts Seniors in 1967, we were then mixed in the second year seniors, I left school in 1971. My sister Jackie was in the seniors when I was in the infants though. That would be in 1960/61 ish.

Welcome Annette,
I lived in Leicester for 10 years, then North Wales, then Bootle,
My daughter went to St George(briefly) then to Bootle High School, but that was only a couple of years ago.
I am Liverpool born and bred and buttered!
Hope you make it back to scouseland, the best place to be!

at moment we are 13hrs ahead of you - so if its say 11pm Tues where you are its 12noon next day Wed here. That is until this coming Sunday when we quit daylight saving so for a short while we're 12 hrs ahead. Then Sunday 26 March you go on daylight saving, then we will be only 11 hrs ahead of you - confusing ain't it? To make it simple just say when it's daytime here its nightime up there so as I write this at 2pm you should be in bed getting your beauty sleep
