Presume that's the chap that Poulsom Drive in Ford is named after ? Ken
ps. Have seen a tug in Southampton Water with that name, never made the connection though. K

Yes the Drive is named after him. He and his wife did much for Bootle.

Thanks filsgreen and Bob.

Bob any idea where number 15 was please and did he die in Bootle/buried in Bootle ?

The Mayor of Sefton has retrieved a portrait of him from storage in the Atkinson. He has had it returned to Bootle and it's now in the Mayoresses Parlour.

I've had a look on Street View. Number 13 is still there. Then all the ones after have been demolished. I've seen pictures of 15 from a distance but only the side of the house and it looks much grander than the earlier numbers.
