Wilson Lane Welsh Methodist Church?

Postby ken » Sat Oct 01, 2016 9:07 am

My mother was married there in 1940 but apparently it has been demolished. I'm just wondering if there are any pictures of it and if so where they would be kept?

Hope this is the right place to ask the question.

Roberts, Allison are the Bootle names I'm interested in.

Thorp(e), Ballard, Parry, Lucas, Dodd, Jacobson, are Liverpool ancestors.

Will this do, Ken? This photo is courtesy of the Litherland Digital website, you may want to visit their site.

Yes! It will very definitely do Phil. Thank you very much.! I was a bit gloomy about getting a picture at all. To be frank I had no idea that there was a Litherland online set of pictures. I've been there and looked and there are quite a lot of photos that brought back memories.

I went to Orrell school which is just round the corner and of course had no idea it was that close to the church where mam got married. Thanks again.

Glad it helped, Ken. I too attended Orrell School from 1964-1969.
