Joe,
You have started me off on one now darts teams in Bootle never played but some great players in Bootle and teams
Taylors Arms come to mind.
Bobhamo will help me on this one and l have some pictures l will put them on later

My Dad played for Taylor's Arms ( Cooksons ) he also ran the very successful Ford Athletic ( JOC ) from there.

Yes Bob. Top left is Billy Hodges, a Duncan Edwards type half back. Billy was killed in a motorbike accident, it devastated the team and the whole pub. :) Ken
