Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone knows if there is a voters list and Absent Voters List for Bootle. Have been trying to track down my GF for this period. I'm pretty sure he lived at 19 Othello St as that was his given address in his Merchant Seaman Discharge of 1919. He was struck off the strength of his Battalion in Jan 1918 when invalided back to UK. After that we have no idea where he ended up.There is no Medal Index Card for him either so if I can trace where he was for the 1918 election.
Many Thanks

Oh and Merry Xmas to you all, hope it's not too cold!!

Cheers

Paul

Sorry I can't help with a 1918 address as I don't have access to directories etc in Aus (however the maritime record of issue of medals and ribbons last dated 1924 shows the Othello st address) but I am sure Genie Bob will try and help just for the record the following shows up on a 1939 search of registration cards from a pay to view site, if his wife was Ada could also be a sister or other relative this may be him.I would think the closed records are related to children

Murphy Household
Liverpool C.B., Lancashire, England

 William B Murphy 1895
Ada Murphy is also on this record
5 more people who are officially closed

Thanks for that Lily,
I do have those records also, the '39 record showing 5 others will include my father Robert, brothers Tommy and William an Uncle Austin Grant and one more unknown. Ada was his wife. They moved out of Bootle in the mid to late 20's moving to Norris Green.

Once again many thanks for your input :D
