I have found a photo of my Great grandfather's house in Madelaine st Liverpool on street view. In the past I have been able to save this to my file, or print it. I don't seen to be able to any more . I'm sure some one can guide me. Thanks Lynne

The best way I found is to do a screenshot - (hold ctrl key and depress the print screen key), then go into word, paste the screenshot onto the blank page, you will have to crop the picture so the rest of your computer screen is cut off! Your'e right though, you used to be able to save the images, must be some copyright thing.

The easiest way to save a pic', from the net, is to use "snipping tool",which looks like a pair of scissors which you will find in your windows programmes, if you just type it in, on your start menu! You move the cursor over the pic', then click "save as", and it will save the pic' wherever you say (maybe my pictures ?) Hope this makes some sense!?

The snipping tool is great. When using though for photos make sure to save it as a Jpeg and not PNG.
Jpeg is better for photos and the file sizes are much smaller than PNG which is used mainly for graphics ie: an image with a limited amount of colours.
It also speeds up uploading and downloading of the image over the interweb.
